Patients are kept in hospitals for a minimum of 24 hours after the operation, extension of the stay period depending upon the procedure performed. The medical facility has a dedicated cell for managing international patients.

Our Partner hospitals are either JCI accredited, which means the infrastructure and quality of care are at par with international standards, or have ISO, NABH, or reputed Indian accreditations. You would need a valid medical visa to enter India for surgery or other medical reasons, which can be obtained at the Indian embassy in your country. You can either obtain a tourist or medical visa to enter India. The Indian government has also started the facility of visas upon arrival for citizens of a few countries. A medical visa can be obtained by producing a letter from the treating doctor or the hospital stating the purpose of your visit.

When you choose us, we offer to service you right from the point you make an enquiry until you are back home and even thereafter. We facilitate initial consultation/opinion and 2nd opinion, if need be, with the Panel Hospital/doctor, provide the treatment plan and prepare a detailed itinerary including your appointments for the surgery (pre-operative and post-operative) and your stay or trips in India. We will handle your bookings, arrange for your first “face-to-face” consultation, coordinate your subsequent schedule of appointments and take care of most of your errands and concierge services as part of facilitation services of your medical trip to India. Once back home, we encourage you to keep in touch with us, as your healing progress is important, and if at any stage you have any queries, we would like you to contact us, and we will respond accordingly.

Medical Insurance : Elective surgery or any possible medical complication arising from having an elective procedure is not covered by any of the insurers worldwide. For other medical procedures, we advise you to get authorization from your medical insurance provider before travelling to India - we will be glad to forward you the medical codes or any other necessary documents.

Travel Insurance : We do advise you to avail regular comprehensive travel insurance while buying your ticket to India.

Our Accessibility : We are always a call or an e-mail away from you for any communication. We also recommend you to stay in the city of surgery for a minimum period as suggested by the surgeon ensuring that you have adequate postoperative consultation with the surgeon. You will be required to stay in India after the surgery for an appropriate period depending on the recuperative procedure, thus ensuring that you are on the correct healing path. Once you are back in your home country and have something to consult with your treating surgeon, we will arrange for a mutually convenient time for a virtual consultation. We urge you to keep in touch with us once ack home, as your continued healing process is important to us. We use email as effective feedback and follow-up system.

We are always ready to offer any technical or psychological support for our guests since it is a vulnerable time for them as they are away from home. Post-operation, we are always available for any other services, consultations and feedback about the experience at the medical facility and/or the surgeon, and assure you that they will be addressed as soon as possible. The simplest and fastest way is to submit enquiry. A patient relationship manager is assigned to you who will prepare your case, share with multiple doctors and hospitals and get back to you with a treatment plan, cost of treatment and other useful information.

The payment modes for the advance payment are as follows:

• Cash – In USD or Indian Rupees as required by the hospital.

• International credit or debit cards

Once you have provided your present condition including medical history and reports, the information will be reviewed and examined by the specialists of affiliated hospitals, accordingly will get back to you with total estimate of your treatment.

Which all travel documents do I need? : Depending on your country of origin and/or citizenship & country of destination, you will need a valid passport and/or Visa (we can help you with this, as well).

Who will be dealing with details of my case during my trip? : Each patient is assigned to a Patient Relationship Manager (PRM) who will take care of all details relating to their visit and successful return and recovery.

International patients will have to submit the travel request form including airline, passport and visa information. Always keep important emergency numbers with you. Credit cards / Debit cards / travelers’ cheque are the safe mode of payment; however in many situations cash would be required, so try to keep some local currency in hand.

• Any drugs prescribed following patient’s discharge from the hospital

• Any care or service relating to any complications that may arise, which is not related to the Patient’s medical / surgical Treatment (additional costs will be charged to patient in accordance with the Hospital’s standard charges prevailing at the time of the complication.)

• Any service or care relating to major complications that may arise during the Patient’s operation, which necessitates

• Patient’s transfer into an internal or external specialized Intensive Care Unit.

• Additional costs relating to the said major complication treatment will be charged to the patient in accordance with the standard charges prevailing at the time of the complication.

• Any in-patient stay extension in the hospital, with regard to the initial length of hospitalization, in relation to the Patient’s surgical treatment, and decided upon, due to medical reasons, by the patient and the surgeon. In such an event, costs relating to the in-patient stay extension will be charged to the Patient and paid by the Patient immediately to the Hospital.

The companion can travel with you. He/she would need a valid passport and may need a visa as well (this depends on destination country and country of origin/citizenship). Most hospitals in India allow at least one attendant to stay with the patient while in the hospital.

After you have decided on a hospital, we will work with the hospital to get you the VISA invitation letter (issued by the hospital). Usually, patients get a priority VISA through that.

The Patient Relationship Manager will share stay options with you. Usually, a comfortable stay starts from USD 20 per day. Before you leave for your trip, we work with you to make sure you are booked in an accommodation of your choice and liking. Alternatively, you can do the booking online. We will recommend you the popular websites to do so.

India is a safe place for tourists. The hospitals and places near to it are verified by us. On arrival your PRM will receive you, transfer you to the pre-booked accommodation/hospital and also brief about the city and tips and tricks to make your stay easy.

Yes. You can book the flight and stay and share the details with us. Your pick-up from the airport is complimentary. Our Relationship Managers are there at every step to keep your movement and stay comfortable.

If you have health insurance that’s internationally valid/ valid in India, please alert the hospitals about it. If it’s an approved insurance provider, hospitals might request you to get an advance payment guarantee which you will have to co-ordinate from your home country.

The hospitals we deal with have invested millions of dollars and would not like to have the adverse effect of any negative publicity affecting their business. They take great care to make sure that the patient is satisfied, and the results are successful. At the same time any surgery or medical procedure entails risk and successful results cannot be guaranteed by anyone.

Yes, it may be possible. However, this will, depend on the doctor’s assessment of your case. This may be more cost beneficial.

Depending on your treatment you will be advised on the "after-care" program. We help you there as per the doctor's recommendation.

Yes, we will be happy to take you and your companions around and if you need specific tour packages to important tourist destinations, we can devise it for you which you can avail by making the advance payment. Your PRM will coordinate for your travel plans.

The Patient Relationship Manager continues to be at your service after your return. We will help you with follow-up consultations with the doctor, reports, medications, and any other help you may need.

Indian Weather : India is a big country and different parts of the country experience different weather and temperature in different seasons. While North India has extreme temperatures, West and South India is temperate. You need to know which part of the country you are visiting and what type of weather and temperatures to expect during that time. Your case manager will help you with that.

Preferred Attire : India is a traditionally conservative society. Women are advised to opt for long skirts or pants, while avoiding miniskirts and shorts, to ensure respectful and appropriate attire.

Indian Food : Indian food is quite different from the rest of the world. Not only does it taste very different, but it is cooked differently. The taste and smell of the food varies in different parts of the country and is as different as its culture. The only thing common in food across different parts is its spiciness.
